Condition

This Umbrella Stand is strong and sturdy and was recently sympathetically cleaned to enhance the very lovely charm and patina of the oak. The condition is good and exhibits some historic knocks, scuffs, and marks to the oak as is always with furniture of this age

Slight corrosion to the zinc metal drip tray over the years has been treated and restored in keeping with the original. The zinc metal used for the drip tray is stamped by the Vieille Montagne Zinc Company of Belgium who arrived in the UK in 1896 and commenced production of some 60% of the UK zinc metal market.
